Salomon Snowboards Relay Thruster snowboard binding, features a design that blends enhanced heel edge power and energy transmission with natural ankle motion and support. Added shock absorption and feel provide a superior natural feeling with this binding when compared to a traditional model. The efficient Tensor wire system connects the highback with the baseplate and increases heelside response. A soft ankle harness is the cornerstone of this concept: engineered with a flexible material similar to that of an ankle strap giving a 3D boot envelopment around the instep and heel. This design provides powerful foothold with a more natural and smooth ankle motion for a progressive lateral flex while the Smart sole keeps your foot protected from any hard plastic contact, and allows the binding to have a small footprint for a more natural board flex while absorbing shock.
